I know he is going through so much but he still is doing so much for all of us! 💜 if I need to talk he is always there to listen. He is a true warrior and an amazing lupus advocate! I've had lupus for 30 years. It has been rough on me due to I didn't know any males with lupus. I really had nobody to got to that understood what I was going through until I met Emmitt Henderson III. We both have had lupus for a long time and are or have gone through the same things. He has helped me through a lot of bad times. I can usually call him at anytime for help. If he's not able to talk, he will call me back. He is very inspiring to me because I too am a Lupus survivor diagnosed at the age of 8 or 9 yrs old & I am now 48. Emmitt think of others even he is not feeling well himself. I literally cried because I truly want God to bless him with a kidney & I tried asking people if their is anything that could be to help. Emmitt & Shanell are two beautiful Lupus warriors that God placed in each others lives to fight this horrible disease together. And they are doing so much to help bring awareness & to just lend a listening ear. I pray that God blesses Emmitt with a kidney soon because there is still more for him to do in the Lupus community. And there are more adventures, fishing trips & family vacations for them to take together.
